Ensemble Notturna
Berlin, belle et bizarre
Following Louis XIV's example, the Prussian King Frederick the Great also showed off his wealth and power in support of the arts, and his court orchestra included some of the finest musicians and composers of the time.
In this programme which Notturna has toured extensively, refined trios, quartets and quintets by Janitsch, Graun, and Krause give Notturna's musicians the opportunity to dazzle in elegant dialogues and lively interaction.
